Every good thing came into my life on the 3rd—well, at least most of them. So, on this Tidur Tak Bangun’s third page, I’d like to write about the thing I love and be grateful for everyday.
I could say that Words of Affirmation is my very love language, ‘cause everytime i get letters, I feel the warmth and presence from those people, right next to me. It doesn’t have to be filled with those “I’m proud of you!” or “You can do it!”, but as simple as sticky notes that say “Hi, Ariz w/ no rizz!” I would keep it for the rest of my life until it fades away to the air, and smiles at it every single time I could. Maybe it sounds freaky but it’s true that the idea in writing this page also came from me that often re-read it all again in my hard times.

It has been more than a thousand of years since people communicated with words and letters, and it is, still, the best way to express our deepest feelings to each other.
“Your choices of words are easily recognizable…” my lovely English teacher once said. “So, don’t try to fool me with using Chat GPT to complete those Text Analysis (tasks)”, she continue. I couldn’t be more agree with that statement ‘cause writing is way more than that. It would show our rethorical thinking implicitly, and whom our words were influenced. Take an example of one of my friends, let’s call her Trulala. Trulala, as far as I know, is a loyal fan of Tere Liye’s books such as Tanah Para Bandit. Then, when school asked us to write a poem about our hardworking-government, she wrote it with the lexical choices that are frequently used by Mas Darwis in that book, and even entitled her poem with that “Bandit” word. I repeat, our uniqueness in writing varies depending on whom we are influenced by, and that’s the best part in writing.
The prayers, poems, drawings, and their own unique kinda fonts would also add value to their meaningful expression, in my opinion. Yes, I would adore ‘em more when it’s handwritten, though I’d still appreciate it too when it comes in print, or even digital—for me, it’s the content that matters.
Idk how to say it but tHaNk yOu vUeryyY mOch for all o the letters—it means a LOT. To many more
